New Wave: A Rising Tide is a full day celebration of Vietnamese culture and Asian American storytelling.

As Asians, many of us 1st or 2nd generation immigrants, our stories often go untold. To encourage the preservation of our stories and a new generation of creativity, we held a full day event featuring women making waves in creative spaces including Director of New Wave Documentary, Elizabeth Ai, musicians and songwriters Thuy and Trace, music executive Anh Vu, professors Thuy Vo Dang, Thao Ha and Lan Duong, filmmakers Mimi Vo & Titania Tran, multi-disciplinary artists Christine LéSantos and Brenda Chi, actor Tree Vo, fashion designer Bao Tranchi.

The event was a success with over 250 people coming out to celebrate with us!
